Fall Flavors

November is here, and whether you’re a Christmas enthusiast who has already put your tree up or someone that rolls your eyes when you see holiday displays at every store long before the actual holiday, we can all agree on one thing: Food is fantastic during the fall season.

There are so many fun dishes to try and the smells of the season make all of us crave a cozy meal. We’re fans of pumpkin spiced lattes and pumpkin pie as much as the next guy, but pumpkin spice isn’t the only thing that’s nice this time of year! From apples to sweet potatoes, there are so many wonderful flavors to try this November.

That’s why we wanted to stash some of our favorite autumn-inspired dishes in one place so that you can fill your home with all the best aromas of the holidays while filling your tummies with satisfying sweet and savory dishes! So, throw out your old Halloween candy that’s getting stale and make room for these fantastic fall-inspired recipes.

Of course, it’s an autumn staple so pass the PUMPKINS, please, and let’s kick off these seasonal recipes with this patch of pumpkin recipes:

Spiced Pumpkin Bread

1⁄4 cup canola oil
1⁄4 cup applesauce

1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
A pinch of salt
1/2 almond milk
1/2 cup pumpkin puree, cooked
1/4 cup almond butter, warmed and softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup almonds, crushed
1/4 cup vegan-chocolate chips

Extra-virgin olive oil
