What is the Connect-a-Coach course?

It is a 10-hour NBHWC Approved continuing education program designed to strengthen and expand the practical skills of health coaches through live, interactive training combined with structured reading materials.

How many CEUs does this course offer, and is it approved?

This program is approved by the NBHWC for 10 CEU credits. All eligible coaches can take this course to count toward their required 36 CEUs for the NBC-HWC credential. All NBC-HWC’s are responsible for submitting the required information after completion directly to the NBHWC.

What is the format of the course?

It is an asynchronous, 100% online, self-paced digital manual and course. Participants work through each section at their own pace with video lessons, guided parts, quizzes, and case studies.
